Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure working capital efficiency rate to PT Telkom Tbk. within 2004-2008 period. The object of this research is to analyze the efficiency rate of working capital of PT Telkom Tbk.,the researcher used three financial ratio analysis methods, those are: liquidity ratio, activity ratio, and rentability ratio. To measure the working capital efficiency used the standars that have been implemented by ministry of BUMN with number of rule by the series of : KEP-100/MBU/2002 about health measurement rate of BUMN (State Owned Enterprises) performing and average financial of telecommunication industry in Indonesia compare to the ratio of liquidity, activity, and rentability of PT Telkom Tbk. The result of this research is usage of working capital of PT Telkom Tbk. within 2004-2008 period include efficiency criteria is above the average line of telecommunication industry in Indonesia which compared to the ministry of BUMN standard and the average of financial ratio of telecommunication industry in Indonesia Keywords: working capital efficiency
