Abstract

Abstract Islamic Bank in Indonesia has stagnated in terms of market share growth. One important factor in improving organizational performance is the performance of its employees. Employee performance can be improved by increasing creativity. Creative employees will have better performance. Creativity is increased if the employee has high affective commitment, has a job resourcefulness, and has an authentic leadership style leader. The data used are employees of Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) and Sharia Business Units (UUS) in Indonesia. There were 56 respondents from 5 BUS and 3 UUS. The test results show that the research measuring instrument is valid and reliable. Tests using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) variance-based methods and tested with the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results revealed that authentic leadership affects affective commitment and job resourcefulness of employees. Affective commitment and job resourcefulness of employees affect creativity. Creativity itself affects the performance of employees. The only hypothesis that is rejected is authentic leadership that does not directly affect creativity.
