Abstract

Strategies are needed by various organizations, including PT. Bank Bengkulu in carrying out its activities. Head office PT. Bengkulu Bank needs human resource strategy in anticipating the global change and increasing the competitiveness among banks in the province of Bengkulu, which is more competitive.The result of environmental analysis showed that an assessment of internal and external factors affect the human resource of head office PT. Bank Bengkulu. These findings indicate that an organization can optimize its existing strengths and opportunities, as well as anticipate any threats or improve its weaknesses. The findings of the environmental analysis must be used as a consideration for the company in formulating appropriate strategies to be applied to the management of human resources. This research is a descriptive study and the methods of collecting data is from interviews with stakeholders, and secondary data. The findings from IFE, EFE, SWOT, IE and QSPM analysis indicated that PT. Bank Bengkulu Pusatis recommended to apply a penetration strategy by increasing the competency of human resources in the field of technology, providing the opportunity for employees to give suggestions and establishing a forum in order to provide a medium of communication and information for employees in the placement process, development. Head office PT. Bank Bengkulu is also recommended to create a wider and comfortable workspace in order to improve employee’s performance. Establishing an efficient management in operational costs and giving attention to the welfare of employees are also recommended to optimize the capacity and quality of human resources.
