Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of job satisfaction on on turnover intention and also organizational commitment as an intervening variable. The research was conducted at Badan Nasional Penempatan dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (BNP2TKI), one of non-department public sector in Indonesia. Primary data collection method used in this study is the questionnaire method. The questionnaire were distributed to 110 employee as respondent and some of them were returned and can be used. The data collected was analyzed using statistical techniques of correlation and the path analysis model used to test the hypothesis which assisted by application program SPSS verion 17. The reseacrh finding figures that not all of hypothesis mentioned and bulit earlier could be accepted. The results showed that the job satisfaction has positively influence organizational commitment. The organizational commitment has positvely influence turnover intention. In addition, the results also showed negative influence of job satisfaction to turnover intention and organizational commitment as intervening variable of this study.
