Abstract
Bank Risk-Based Rating (RBBR) is an assessment of the soundness ofcommercial banks that formerly called CAMELS (Capital, Asset Quality,Management,Earnings, Liabilities and Sensitivity to Market). General bank rating method RBBRstarted since 5 January 2011. So all commercial banks in Indonesia must apply themethod to the commercial banks In this study the concept of indicators used inthe mechanism RBBR namely:Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings and Capital. However, in thisstudy only 3 (three) variables used areRisk Profile, Good Corporate Governance andCapital. The sample in this study are all banking companies listed in Indonesia StockExchange (IDX)2008-2013 years. The method of analysis used in this study is multipleregression, because according to the purpose of the research is to analyze the influenceof the independent variable on the dependent variable. To menentuan sample selectionmethod used purposive sampling. By using this method, the company acquired 20 banksthat will be used as samples in this study From the results of hypothesis testing, it is shown that the Loan to Deposit Ratio(LDR) has a significant positive effect on financial performance (earnings volatility).While the Good Corporate Governance (GCG) has a significant negative effect onfinancial performance (earnings volatility) and the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has asignificant negativeeffect on financial performance (earnings volatility) Keyword: RBBR, STD, LDR, GCG dan CAR
