Abstract

Bank is a very important part in the economy, one of whose duties as an intermediary institution to collect and distribute funds from the community back in the form of credit. The purpose of this research was to determine the extent to which the relationship of Third Party Funds (TPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return On Asset (ROA), Non Performing Loans (NPL), and Interest Rate of Sertifikat Bank Indonesia (SBI) to the credit volume in commercial bank from 2007-2011. Independent variables used in this study is the Third Party Funds (TPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return On Asset (ROA,) Non-Performing Loan (NPL), and Interest Rate of Sertifkat Bank Indonesia (SBI) while the dependent variable used in this study is credit volume. From the analysis showed that during the observation period of the study indicate that the data are normally distributed. Based on the test for normality, multicollinearity test, test of heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation test found no variables that deviate from the classical assumptions. This shows the available data has been qualified using multiple linear regression equation model. The result for the F-test showed that all of the variable were significant to credit volume. While the t-Test results indicated TPF and ROA are significantly positive, while CAR showed not significantly negative, and NPL and SBI showed significantly negative effect on credit volume. Predictive ability of these variables on the credit volume was 88.586% as indicated by the magnitude of adjusted , while the rest 11.414% influenced by other factors outside research. Keywords : Credit Volume, Third Party Funds (TPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Return On Asset (ROA), and Interest Rate of Sertikat Bank Indonesia (SBI).
