Abstract
There is a need for companies to have a conceptually sound framework (person: job-fit) and a cost-effective, speedy and convenient system (online testing) at their disposal to meet their personnel selection needs in a highly competitive environment. These days, one way of doing so is via online recruitment, a method of attracting job candidates via the internet. As a practice. Unstable unemployment from year to year in Indonesia is cause by distance or residence that difficult to reach and job information source only through newspaper advertising, magazine, and brochure.The emergence of electronic recruitment as a recruiting toolandthe most popular resource is very easy for job seekers to apply forjob without spending a lot of money and time, everybody can accsess the information if they are connecting the internet. Theaims of this study is to examine attitude towards electronic recruitment as a driver of an intention to apply. In this research used The theory of planned behavior consisting of Attitude (Attitude), Subjective Norm (SN), and Perceived Behavior Control(PBC)as variabel independent. This study was taken because in the previous research there are still differences between each other and there are a differences between the result of previous research with existing theory. The sample of this research are Fresh Graduate in Universitas PROF. DR HAMKA (UHAMKA), Universitas Paramadina, and Universitas Bung Karno. 99respondent are selected, determination of the sample in this research using purposivesampling, while data analysis method used was multiple linear regression.The result of this study indicate that the partial effect of Perceived Behavioral Control have a positive effect whileAttitude andSubjective Norm have nopositive effect towards electronic recruitment as a driver ofan intention to apply.
