Abstract
The development of creative industries is one of the government's efforts in advancing the economy especially the economy in Indonesia. This is realized by the creative industry of creativity and human wealth done by Indonesia. Creative economy is now a sector that is enough to help the country's economy. This study uses the data obtained from the central statistical agency and interviews with several creative industries in several regions in Indonesia. Based on 2016 creative economic statistics released by Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) and BPS shows in the period 2010-2015, creative economy GDP rose from Rp525.96 trillion to Rp852.24 trillion or an average increase of 10.14 percent per year. By 2016 the GDP of creative economy is 922.59 trillion rupiahs, the creative economy contributes 7.44% to the total of the Indonesian economy. The GDP of creative economy grew by 4.95% in 2016 and statistical data obtained from the number of businesses owned by Indonesia is 8.2 million spread across several regions and regions in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that from research data that can improve the economy in Indonesia
