Abstract
This study aims to determine the factors that influence the customer intention to use the service of SMS Banking. The purpose of this research is to provide information about the factors that influence the customer intention to use SMS Banking and can give input to the banks management to evaluate its marketing strategy. The characteristic of the respondents who became the sample are the customer of Bank Mandiri Depok branch, who has the ATM Mandiri card and has find out about the services of SMS Banking from Bank Mandiri. Results from studies using 100 respondents indicated that: (1) Value, Tradition and Image barrier factors have significant influence on customer intention to use, (2) Whereas the Usage, Risk and Information barrier factors has no influence on significant customer intention to use SMS Banking.
