Abstract

Non-performing loan (NPL) is an indicator used to measure the level of banking health. This research analized about the factors that affect the Non Performing Loan such as Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Inflation, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and SBI rates. While NPL is the dependent variable used in this study. Data that used are the panel data regression estimation by using the method of common effect. The sample data that is taken is a public bank that is in General based on the assets of the bank rating period 2005-2010 at Bank Indonesia. This sample uses the method of purposive sampling of 145 banks listed in Bank Indonesia. The results of selection comes by nine general bank assessed from perception as bank on the basis of stable assets in rankings. Statistical methods used is regression analysis where whose hypotheses testing with T-test and F-test. From the results of these studies found that only variable CAR rates that have a positive influence and significant to the NPL Keywords: Non-performing loan, Loan to deposit ratio, Inflasi, Capital Adequacy Ratio, SBI rates.
